An all volunteer, interdenominational ministry dedicated to offering gratitude and respite to wounded, injured and ill service members, their families and care providers.
This interdenominational ministry is financially supported by donations from those who wish to express their gratitude to our service men and women and by church and civic organizations from the local community and surrounding area. Funds donated are used to provide for class materials, housing, meals, entertainment and transportation. They are also used to make and send cards to hospitalized and deployed troops.
Ministry team members travel to the Warrior and Family Support Center at Fort Sam Houston to teach card making twice a month. This offers wounded warriors a respite from their daily struggle to recover from injuries and illnesses. It is also a time for family members and care providers to rest for a while and renew themselves so that they can take better care of their wounded warrior.
Demonstrate the love of Christ to all wounded, injured or ill warriors and their families and caregivers.
- Offering respite;
- Assisting with reintegration into civilian settings;
- Showing our deep gratitude for their sacrifices;
