Beth Moore Bible Study –  “A Women’s Heart-God’s Dwelling Place” began on Wednesday, September 13 from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in room 10, facilitated by Danielle King.    It’s not too late to join us!

Bible Study with Pastor George: “Invitation to the New Testament,”  – an 8 session study showing how the New Testament writers and the early Christian community wrestled with the implications of the story of Jesus for their lives and their communities of faith. The study invites Christians today to study afresh the story of Jesus to learn more about their calling to discipleship and participation in the community of faith.. Wednesday nights, beginning Sept. 27, 7:00-8:00 pm Or Thursday Mornings, beginning Sept. 28, 10:30 am – 11:30 am, Room 7-9

Grief Group – Our church is offering a ministry to those who are experiencing grief during the holiday season. It will be led by Dr. Rick McMinn on Wednesday nights from 5:00-6:30 beginning October 25, 2017. The holiday season in a time for families gathering to reminisce, laugh, and celebrate. For many of us, those feelings are also accompanied by private feelings of sadness–for who is missing–for the empty chair at the family meal.
Please come and join others to give voice to feelings of both joy and sadness with others in a healthy and meaningful experience. The group is open to the congregation and the community as we follow our rich tradition of reaching out to the broken-hearted.

Parent Support Group – Are you a parent of a teenager? Do you ever have thoughts like, “What happened to my sweet little angel?” Well, you are not alone. Come and share your wisdom, frustrations, joys and concerns with fellow in-the-trenches parents, and find out what the Bible says about parenting. This group will be an time of informal discussion and short Bible study. Weds. nights from 7-8-pm Room 6-8

 “The Nest”- is a women’s study group that will be focusing on “Feathers, Faith in Flight”; a weekly podcast produced by Amy J. Bennet and features women from all walks of life who share their stories of faith and how their faith grew because they obeyed God’s call. The Story of God with Morgan Freeman – Sunday Night Small Group “Deborah Agnew is leading a small group which will view and discuss episodes of “The Story of God with Morgan Freeman”.  The series aired on the National Geographic channel in 2015 and 2016.  The group will meet in her home at 1206 Crenwelge Drive every Sunday in October, except Oktoberfest, October 8, from 5 to 6:30pm. .  Deborah stated, ” I caught many of these episodes and recorded them.  As I watched, I found myself wanting to discuss the material with others.” Please call the church office to sign up.  Limit 12
